Why was the war with Mexico 1847-1848 left out?

From Betsy Reznicek, National Veterans for Peace office:

According to our office manager, the reason that was left out was simply due to available space. Of course the United States has been involved with many other conflicts where civilians were killed, but we simply had space requirements to work with.

Thus, some items had to be left off. We don't discredit U.S. involvement in those conflicts or the civilians killed.

There is a larger list of "U.S. Military Interventions" on the website, but it doesn't list casualties: A Century of U.S. Military Interventions veteransforpeace.org/files/pdf/FROM%20WOUNDED%20KNEE%20TO%20IRAQ%20MILITARY%20INTERVENTIONS.pdf

Thanks - and I hope that helps.
