Peace Rally in Plattsburgh, NY (April 22, 2006)

Many of our North Country Veterans for Peace members participated in a peace rally held in Plattsburgh. Miles Manchester and Paul Saint-Amand spoke at the event.

Peace Vigil and Walk in Potsdam, NY (March 25, 2006)
NC-VFP members lead a walk for peace after a one-hour peace vigil: Mike Mullen, Zac Williamson, Paul Saint-Amand, Frank Theis, Miles Manchester. Over 150 people from around the Potsdam area showed up for the peace vigil and walk. A discussion about the war in Iraq was held at the Community Center of the First Presbyterian Church afterwards. North Country VFP members respond to President Bush's State of the Union Address(Febuary 2, 2006)
Members met at Ed Clark's house to listen/watch the President's speech. Afterwards, they drafted a response which was sent as a "letter to the editor" to local newspapers and media. [Letter in PDF format ]
